Description

Another first by 2D6 Wargaming.

Strip of Wojtek the Syrian bear that fought for Poland. Soldiers of the II Polish Corps bought him in Iran during WW2.  Initially instated as a Private, Wojtek worked his way to corporal.  Just like soldiers of the day, he also drank beer and smoked cigarettes.

Wojtek fought in the Italian Campaign and carried artillery shells during the battle of Monte Casino.

Wojtek survived the war and lived out his days in Edingborough Zoo, often visited by his old comrades in arms.

Two figures pers strip.  One pose is a natural bear and the other is Wojtek carrying an artillery shell.
